Meet the Board
Devoted to Jesus Christ and dedicated to spreading the Gospel, the Board of Directors of NHGR embodies the denominational diversity it seeks to promote within the evangelical community. The nine current members represent six distinct Christian denominations.
John Donovan - President
President of NHGR and is a Pastor of Open Door Bible Church
in Ossipee. He's retired from Verizon, where he was in charge of Wireless
Project Management. John has been a licensed Amateur Radio
operator since he was 15 years old. He is also a Director of the NH Bible
Society. Him and his wife Shirley love to travel and visit their
many children and grandchildren.
Peter Stohrer - Vice President
Former President of NHGR for many years and now serves as both our VP and Technical Director. He has worked for Saga Communications (WZID, WFEA, and more) in Manchester as Chief Engineer for decades. With his wife Deb, he attends Trinity Baptist Church in Concord.
Steve Blanchard - Treasurer
Works at Concord Hospital and attends Concord Bible Fellowship in Concord with his wife Sally. He's passionate about incarcerated men and volunteers at NH’s Prison for Men.
Cheryl Eggert - Secretary
Cheryl was the Admin for many years at the start of NHGR and has recently returned as Secretary. She attends CenterPoint Church in Concord with her husband Dean.
Janice Cyr - Executive Director
On-staff as Executive Director of NHGR and a board member. Former General Manager of a local news station she has over a decade and a half of experience in the telecommunications industry. She attends Be Free Church in Alton and enjoys hiking, writing, and spending time with her three sons and daughter-in-law.
Sally Blanchard - Board Member
Senior Accountant at Concord Hospital and attends Concord Bible Fellowship where she worships and teaches Sunday school with her husband Steve.
Mark Henderson - Board Member
Mark works at .... and is active in the NH National Guard. He helps keep our many sites well maintained. He attends Calvary Bible Church in Meredith and is active in men's ministry there.
John Loker - Board Member
Retired Pastor and currently serves on a few other ministry boards in New Hampshire. He currently attends Journey Church in Derry with his wife Joan.
Judy Mason - Board Member
Is passionate about prayer and continues to intercede for the ministry of NHGR as well as state and national prayer objectives. She attends New Testament Christian Fellowship in Manchester.
