Farewell to George: Your Legacy Will Live On

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of George Dykstra, a cherished board member and a beloved member of our community. George’s unwavering commitment, leadership, and kindness touched the lives of so many, both within our organization and beyond.

His wisdom and dedication will continue to inspire us, and his absence leaves a void that will not be easily filled. We are grateful for the time we had with him and the many contributions he made. His impact will be felt for years to come, and his spirit will always remain a part of our work. He will be greatly missed, but never forgotten.

George was most recently Treasurer of NHGR but served on the board of NHGR for twenty-nine years! Together, George and his wife Annamae tirelessly served NHGR, and we are all the better because of them. George went home to be with his Lord and Savior on August 8, 2024.
